The future appears bleak and depressing considering the recent FOIA numbers which put EB3 GC wait times at approximately 8-10 years. Is there no hope at all? :(
There is no hope at all especially when our priorities are so misplaced. Just see how many members even post to any meaningful thread and whenever there is any meanigful thread people are out there to make every effort to derail it using cheap tactics.

Hi,
It appears TSC (Texas Service Center) started using new system CHAMPS, which is not connected to the online case status system.
Any one saw either SOFT / HARD LUDs on their cases pending in TSC in last two / three months?

This is a ridiculous ruling. The group does not have a lien on its patient base. They are and should be free to choose whomever they wish for their care.
This is typical of business investors subverting the Doctor patient relationship.

Hey Ed - I chickened out on the Abes deal after reading the reviews - sounds like they make you work hard for your discount. If you went for it, let me know the outcome.
So what made you switch?
Well... A friend of mine has a photography business and uses Nikon kit. For a long time I have been impressed by her out of the camera images (color and skin tones), particularly flash shots. She was achieving good looking images with far less processing than me. Her nikon zooms were great wide open too - mine were just OK (on a 20d) I was hoping that Canon would take a hint, & come up with a feature set to compete with the d300. They didnt do it, so I jumped ship!

As long as you are still doing S/W related job, don't worry about VB , C# or Java etc ...I myself used AC21 rule to change the job and got GC in September.. I know a lot of ppl got GC after using AC21. Most of the ppl, I know (including me) did not inform USCIS about AC21. Ron Gotcher was my attorney and according to him, sending AC21 documents might complicate the case. Also, he informed me that AC21 rule is practiced in a very liberal way by the USCIS ... so don't worry ...

]i am thinking that this is a liar's post.[/B].. i am very surprised that USCIS went to extent of finding H4 inconsistencies and denying a dependent GC... that would take the cake... it makes it sound like USCIS is out to catch people with the smallest slightest mistakes... i do not think that is the case...

Dates were current till 2005. They were again current in between.

Anecdote: An acquaintance of mine was married for a year and then they had marital issues. His spouse started living separately here in the US and then went back to India. The guy went to India on a trip to see his ailing father. His ex-wife's parents filed a harassment/abuse case against him and he ended up being there for 2 years. In that period his 485 was considered abandoned inspite of being in the country for more than 10 years.
I do not know the exact reasons for their marital discord, never asked and never judged.
The one thing which this country should teach is not to judge another person. No one has the right to insult/judge another human being without knowing the facts. Even if you do know the facts, you have absolutely no business to talk nonsense. Just farting out of your mouths anonymously on a public forum does not make you wise or a person of character. Shame on the low-lives who made ugly comments about OP.

have a US visa stamped and has not expired, they will not let you board a plane to UK.
If you have GC, then there is no need for transit visa. If you are on AP, then you will need transit visa.
I think in the 50s and 60s, an Indian passport holder could enter the UK based on holding a commonwealth passport. Wonder why that policy changed? ;)

I seriously don't know how many LUD's have passed on my portfolio but the latest is April 30, 2009. Called lawyer and asked them if there were any RFE's, second FP appointment and told me that there are none. I don't know if you read the article where USCIS is pre-adjudicating cases even if the PD is not current. As to what the article said, I think TSC & NSC have already almost used up every EB3 quota for the FY2010 where they needed to pre-adjudicate cases so they would know more or less accurately how big the backlog is. According to the article also, most cases that were pre-adjudicated were those who filed during the 2007 FIASCO they created so it would probably only mean one of the ff:
- USCIS is playing safe
- USCIS indeed pre-adjudicated those 2007 filers which probably answers our current LUD's (if that really is the case)
- USCIS pretty much denied a lot of application (if you don't have any denial letter by now and you see LUD's on your portfolio and filed last 2007 during that Fiasco, chances are its been pre-adjudicated already, maybe).

Will I be breaking any laws if I just do voluntary marketing and promotional work for my company in India.
Here is the situation :
My clients will be in USA and they will be paying my company in India. I will be on the board of the company , and will be doing voluntary marketing and promotional work for the company while residing in USA.

--On a lighter note. Let me handle your finances in India. You can work here on H1B.
