Valet happens to be one of the few departments I oversee at the resort I work at... ive driven a few that have come through here and must say, certainly one of the top 3 cars ive ever driven.
the others in the list of top cars, are easily 3-4 times the price of the GTR
Nice. Of course in Atlanta (especially since I'm in between Midtown & Buckhead), we see all those supercars. But the best I've seen was an imported JDM (seemingly) GT-R R34 sitting in the 2nd level parking deck of Atlantic Station.
Me and this other dude went ape ****.

Is this specific to iPad and iPod? The standard warranty most certainly transfers, since I have bought a Powerbook long ago on CraigsList and used the warranty to get repairs.

Authorized Reseller Orders 10000, when they meant to order 1000...

Authorized Reseller Goes out of Business
or
Authorized Reseller Declares Bankruptcy
Any of these possibilities results in a large number of iPads reaching a overstock and close out retailer like TJ Maxx etc...
Its not a big mystery or a great train robbery situation. And the reason they are probably available at limited locations would be a limited supply of an item (Still High Ticket despite the $100.00 Discount) being sold from a store where 95% of their stock is priced in a sub $10.00 per unit price point is going to be directed to markets where they are more likely to sell - Larger Cities, Stores in retail plazas with other high ticket resellers, and cities with a higher tech savvy population like Austin, Seattle, Dallas, Silicon Vally, New York City...
It the chain has more then 10K units to distribute thats when things get pretty unusual...

I've a few books on the artist and its amazing how varied his work and how influential he was (like Van Gogh and Whistler). He was prolific and I usually get my desktops with a google image search

What i'm wondering about is when we will get an announcement about it.
If the launch is Wednesday they are leaving it incredibly late!
What are we supposed to do. Base it all on rumor and show up outside stores on Wednesday if we want one? Give me a break!
EXACTLY! All this hush hush in the telecom business is ridiculous. I imagine Apple is waiting on all the retail stores to confirm delivery from weekend shipments and a safe bet would be a Wednesday announcement and you can buy Thursday at retail stores, select Best Buys, and possibly ATT/VZW.
I wonder if there is a surprise up Apples sleeve, like a 64GB white model available as kinda like a "sorry" for the delay...???

Agreed. This doesn't sound correct. I have a corporate discount and added the feature. I still have the discount.
When this initially was announced and after holding for a long time while the rep checked, ATT told me verbally that the dicounted $29.95/450 min plan would go to regular $39.95 regular price if I wanted the unlimited mobile to mobile with unlimited texting but it in fact wasn't the case. I was able to do it online. The first day or so of the promotion the site was giving me an error whenI tried to make the change but I was able to do it on day 2 or 3. I verified earlier today that my discount rate was still in tact and I had the unLim Mob to Mob.
