What icon/theme is that?
I know I'm asking 3 people the same question, but those are all very great looking icons.

There honestly is no need to update the iPhone line EVERY year at this point. iPhone 4 was the biggest jump and I don't see a reason to jump again so soon, especially after Verizon customers JUST recived access to the phone. I can understand updating the models to include 4G, but at this point 4G IMHO is not needed. It's not a mature enough standard to expect iPhone owners to have smooth service with Verizon and AT&Ts 4G networks. I see them both being great next year, but it'd be a forced move on Apples part to update so soon.
I disagree, whether you call it a refresh or all new phone, several things must be addressed by Apple in the current model:
1. replace back glass with metal or carbon fiber enclosure;
2. replace antenna design;
3. use 4" screen, even at same resolution;
4. offer 64gb model.
One even more important change, which I KNOW they won't do, is use a universal radio chip that can support GOS and CDMA networks - no more having to buy a new phone every time you switch carriers - oops, that cuts agains Apple's AND the carriers interest - not much traction there.

Hi, the best you are going to get is either the MDP-DVI adapters by Kanex or by Altona.. I am using the Kanex version and it works rather well driving the 24 inch LED Cinema display, but can't get isight to work for some reason.

For a while I was thinking that the only dent Apple could make was primarily in the individual consumer market. But this news along with checking out some of the new upcoming features for Leopard server makes me change my mind. 2007 and all it will bring to the Mac platform will be an interesting year for sure.

No, you are mistaken. What you are talking about here is called "retribution", which is not what justice is supposed to be about. There is more evidence to suggest that the death penalty makes things worse for everyone than when it is not employed. One major example of this might be Canada, which has quite a lot of guns, no capital punishment, and is generally a safer place to be (though I cannot vouch for iJohnHenry's neighborhood ;)).

The keynote was terrible.
It's called "MacWorld" yet there was nothing in there about the mac. Just this little toy that dosn't really interest me that much called the "iPhone" and the "Apple TV".
I was desperate to see iLife 07, as I'm going to a place where there is an Apple store, and I really wanted to buy it then. For the very first time, Apple have actually disappointed me. :(

How about fixing the bug where listening to home sharing from your iDevice doesn't update play counts in iTunes like its suppose to. Not sure if it's a iOS bug or a iTunes bug but it doesn't work on either Windows or OS X.

Lets hope they fix the OSX Server SMTP issue as well. We had to move everyone off of outlook for Mac because it would no longer connect for the SMTP side of our OSX server. Could receive email no problem but would not send. Move to OSX Mail and no issue. Outlook on PC no issue. Very odd problem and could not solve it.

by seeing the results of the poll, we can see that majority of voters won't buy the new iPhone 4 in white. It is based on around 3200 votes.
I am not an expert analyst or anything like that, but let me say this now, when the white iPhone 4 launches on April 27th, it is going to be chaos and out of stock because there are TONS of demands of this phone I dont know why. Same thing goes with the iPad 1 and the white iPad 2, people are saying that iPad 1 was just a bigger iPod touch, and the white iPad 2 was ugly and terrible-looking. But see now, TONS of people decided to choose white iPad 2 instead of the black one.
Typical Apple fan. They vote no, and when they finally see in person, they can't resist to buy one even if they have a black iPhone 4.
For me personally, I have the original iPhone 4 in black that I bought back in June last year and I am looking to upgrade to the white iPhone 4 and sell the black one.

A couple of notes... the end user price of your iPhone is really driven by your carrier and what they are willing to subsidize. Also, it's very common in many industries to price things differently from country to country based on local markets. I know in our markets, we have some countries like India that we sell at about a 20% discount of the US, but in Europe, it's about 10% more expensive. Very common.
You also get a lot of people on here looking at the US Apple Store and seeing the iPhone 4 at $200 then checking their own store and seeing it priced around 500 Pounds or Euros.
They don't understand that the US price doesn't include sales tax and requires signing up for an expensive 2 year contract but their own price includes tax and is for a factory unlocked, contract-free phone.
You also get a lot of people on here looking at the US Apple Store and seeing the iPhone 4 at $200 then checking their own store and seeing it priced around 500 Pounds or Euros.

The SE/30 is surprisingly desirable among classic 68k guys. Unlike the regular SE, its much faster and supports 128MB of RAM. If its as nice as you say, I would be well over $100 for it.
