got LUD on 1/29, 1/30 RFE send, 2/10 RFE evidence received, 2/11
I am also an NCS-CSC-NSC transfer. Got LUDs on 2/10 on my/my wife's application. I just got an email saying an RFE was sent just for my application.
Anyone else that got RFEs after getting LUDs at the beginning of Feb? What were the RFEs for?

First of all make a complaint about the employer to the INS that he is not paying... and make decision, US is not your entire life. If you have confidence you can do anything anywhere in this small world.

I agree with most of the comments, the backlog definitely seems to be the overbearing issue here. The USCIS has faced a great deal of criticism because of this backlog, which many people argue is highly unfair. Not a people manager AFAIK. I think it is a group lead position but no poeple manager responsibility.

No surprises for me at least. There will be only 816 new EB3 visas available for any country in October. This will move the dates at the most by a month or two and this will continue for ever until a new legislation is passed, that is why DC rally is all the more important and everyone should focus on that to bring in a change.
For folks wondering how I came to the 816 visa number
Total GC available = 140000
7% country limit = 9800
split for EB3 = 3266
spread for each qtr = 816
Good Luck to all and don't have high expectations because you will be disappointed when the bulletin comes out.
spread it for each month = 272.
number of families per month (assuming 2.5 persons per family): 109 :(

If you would like to meet with your lawmakers during this recess, then please email Varsha and Sanjay at varsha@immigrationvoice.org and sanjay@immigrationvoice.org respectively and simply put “Need Meeting Info” in the subject line of Email. They will send you all the information that you need on seeking the appointment, taking the right material with you, making a good case for reform and doing the follow-ups if necessary.

In order to capitalize on this opportunity, it is very important that everyone meet with his or her legislators locally during this Easter recess of Congress. The members of the House will be in their districts between 2nd April and 13th April. The members of the Senate will be in their states between 2nd April and 9th April.
Please use the time between now and the Easter recess to seek appointments to meet with your Congressmen and Senators in order to draw their attention on the need for reform in high-skills immigration.

Senator Menendex mentioned the recapture employment-based visas that haven't been used in past years so that they may be used in future years. Among other things, he also mentioned that he will continue to address the concerns of employment-based visas in the context of comprehensive immigration reform. He is the sponsor of the S 1085 bill.
Senetor Lautenberg mentioned "Under current immigration law, employment-based immigration is limited to 140,000 visas, or green cards, per year. The process for obtaining employment-based visas can take years to complete, causing many of these visas to go unused. There is also an annual per-country limit that caps at seven percent the number of employment-based immigrants that can come from any one country. In some instances, this per-country cap causes employers to consider country of origin, not talent, when hiring foreign workers.
A bill has been introduced in the Senate that would address some of these delays and caps. The “Reuniting American Families Act” (S. 1085) would recapture unused employment-based visas from prior years. This bill would allow the Department of Homeland Security to issue any unused visas from Fiscal Years 1992-2007 and in the future roll over any unused visas from one year to the next. It would also increase the per-country cap for employment-based visas to ten percent of the annual total."

thanks for your supportive words for CP filers now CP filers need some relief as they are not able to get an EAD/AC21. I think we could ask to allow CP filers to file 485 with out having dates current and conserdering their CP filing date to get EAD and AC21.
