Receipt Number: SRC0XXXXXXXX
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Notice Returned as Undeliverable.
On December 19, 2007, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent..
I have not yet got the FP appointment. Could this be the letter for that or something else serious?
After filing, my address changed.
I submitted AR-11 form, called USCIS and updated address, when opened SR last month gave them the new address to for which any notices have to be sent etc..but still got this letter from our super efficient USCIS.

I just booked tickets for an emergency 1 week trip to India and 30 mins later got a CRIS email
---------------------------
We reopened this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER on August 28, 2009, and are now reviewing our earlier decision. We also mailed you a notice describing the next steps in the process. Please follow any instructions on this notice. Our review should be completed within 30 days. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service
-------------------------------
Most likely my company revoked H1. Until this email came I was confident I could travel without worries of 485 getting touched/denied when I was in India.(I am planning to reenter using AP).
I currently have found a similar job but havent filed AC21 papers yet. I am now hesitating to travel as something happens to my 485 when I am out of the country there is not much that can be done.
So with
a) H1 Revoked aug 28th
b) Address changed
c) AC21 not filed
I am thinking of not travelling. Am I overreacting here ?
You mentioned emergency in your post. If there is a medical issue regarding a near-dear family member or a really important event (may be immediate family members wedding) then you should go. These are more important things in life. Believe it or not when you look back that this in future you will regret the decision of not going if its truely an emergency.
Most likely nothing will happen. Just take the offer letter with you from the new company descibing that your new job duties are similar to old one and also take copy of AC21 law.

Non-immigrants residing in the U.S. are required to update USCIS with a change of address within 10 days of moving. As you now appear to be living in a different location "y", you should update USCIS for you and any dependents immediately.
As you are now living/residing in place "y" that is your residential address and you will need to file your AP/EAD (I-131/I-765) renewals according to your current address.
Some general instructions:
Please be sure to visit the USCIS website at https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa for information regarding U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Change of Address procedures and for access to Form AR-11. USCIS expects that the Form AR-11 should be mailed or submitted electronically within ten days of any change of home address. You may submit the form electronically to https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.Terms, or by mail to the USCIS address listed on the Form.
If not submitting electronically, we strongly advise that all such forms be sent using U.S. Certified Mail, and Return Receipt cards. Sending the AR-11 form via Certified Mail is the only way to prove that change-of-address notification was submitted in a timely fashion.
Please be sure to indicate that you have pending petitions and provide the respective receipt numbers.
Good luck

I am not sure about 1 week prior to appt they will allow or not. If you have real valid reason you may try talk to the officer(not the guard) and explain the situation. Kids are allowed. Our daughter is citizen and we took her with us.

I guess I was doing this technique before I knew it's offical name, here's the last shot I recall.

Silly me, I did it the hard way, hand held.
P.S. Jeff, don't feel bad, I started out with one of those cheap Wal-Mart tripods too. Now that I have a good one the old cheap one comes in handy for my remote flash. So don't throw it out you may be able to reuse it one day.
